Jeff Clark, AIA - President
Jeff is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Washington State University where he studied abroad in London, and travelled extensively before joining the firm in 1983. He is a licensed Architect in the State of Washington with more than 26 years of experience in architecture, planning, and construction administration.
Jeff became president of the firm in 1990 and he repositioned it to emphasis its architectural and planning services within the health care and veterinary fields. He has completed a variety of project types over the ensuing years of practice that have included custom single & multi-family residential, retail centers, warehouses, automotive dealerships & maintenance facilities, general offices, health care facilities, and veterinary facilities of every type.
In addition to his general management responsibilities Jeff continues to oversee the firms’ marketing and design programming services, with special emphasis in the oversight, design, and management of our animal health care project teams. Jeff also oversees Architectural Werks ongoing world wide work with Starbucks Coffee Company, and continues to participate as an active member in our health care project teams.
Outside of the office Jeff has remained engaged in community affairs having served as the Eastside Team Leader for the Seattle AIA Disaster Preparedness Committee; Chairman of the Kirkland Planning Commission; Vice-chair Kirkland Growth Management Commission; Kirkland City Council Member; President Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce; and member of the King County Housing Task Force.
Jeff currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Evergreen Healthcare Foundation and is the Chairman of the Kirkland Concours d’ Elegance, a non-profit 501-c-3, organization that has raises funds for the uncompensated healthcare of children at two the regions most prestigious hospitals.
